Crazy Hair & Sock Day is nearly here! This Saturday, 16 June, netball courts everywhere will be full of colour and joy as associations do their bit to raise money for children’s cancer research through The Kids’ Cancer Project.
Saturday is the official date, but you can celebrate it any other day of your choice. Some of the NSW Swifts players will be heading to the following associations to join in on all the fun:
Claire O’Brien – St George Netball Association (9-11am)
Sam Wallace – Parramatta Auburn Netball Association (9-11am)
Sarah Klau – Penrith Netball Association (9.30-11.30am)
Helen Housby – Campbelltown Netball Association (9-11am)
62 associations have registered to take part – the highest ever number they’ve had! Last year saw $53,000 raised for the charity, and we’re sure that number will increase this time around.
If you haven’t already registered, there’s still time! Join in on the colourful fun and register your Club or Association, school or workplace to host your own Crazy Hair & Sock Day and help support The Kids’ Cancer Project.
You’ll not only be able to raise awareness and much-needed funds for cancer research, but all Associations registered will score a fundraising pack full of posters, balloons, collection tins and fundraising ideas to help make your day a massive success.
