If you have been to one of the NSW Swifts’ first home games of the 2013 ANZ Championship season, you will have noticed the progress on the Netball Central construction site.
One month on from the last update, excavation work has continued on the site with earth-movers a constant presence.
Relocation of trees and lights continues in the southern area of the site as workers prepare for the compaction of the soil for construction. While earthwork continues in the forecourt area and stormwater installation, water, electrical and other services are addressed.
A decision on the flooring supplier for the courts will be made at the upcoming Joint Steering Committee Meeting and further fit-out details will be decided over the coming weeks!
Take a peek into the future of what the new facilities will look like once complete with new sketches from architect Scott Carver.
In these sketches you can see some of the courts, a view of the entry to the facilities as well as some exterior shots to give you a feel for how the building will look from the outside.
Check out more of the latest sketches and construction images on the Netball NSW Facebook Page.
