Netball NSW welcomes BBX to netball family

Netball NSW and the NSW Swifts are pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership with BBX Australia as Team Partner.

Established in 1993, BBX is a global leader in cashless trading by managing the buying and selling of goods and services on behalf of its members in a cashless environment.

A family owned and operated business, BBX Australia Managing Director Carolin Macdonald said its community appeal is what drew the organisation to teaming up with the netball community.

“We’re very excited to be joining Netball NSW as a Team Partner.  We see both organisations being very family orientated; it’s a big part of our business and we believe it’s a big part of netball as well,” Macdonald said.

“Netball NSW is entering a new chapter with its recent move to Netball Central, and we’re thrilled to be helping both Netball NSW and the NSW Swifts continue to grow and move forward.”

Netball joins a list of sporting codes whom BBX already supports including AFL and Rugby Union, however Macdonald said the partnership was a conscious decision to support women in sport.

“We were interested in a sport that is female orientated, plus netball is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia right now.  It also has a great community, both at grassroots and elite level, and we are excited to engage with its members and support the organisation as a whole,” Macdonald said.

Netball NSW General Manager – Commercial and Communications Tristan Prosser-Shaw said BBX was a welcome inclusion to the organisation’s growing corporate portfolio.

“We’re excited to welcome BBX to the netball family, particularly on developing ways we can help enhance the game day experience for our Members and fans,” Prosser-Shaw said.

“BBX offers a practical alternative to traditional currency methods by delivering a cashless payment platform, and with this partnership highlights how we are always looking to work with innovative organisations.

“Netball NSW is thrilled to be the first female sporting code to join the BBX portfolio and we’re excited about what this new partnership will help deliver to our community members,” Prosser-Shaw concluded.
