The 2015 Netball NSW State Championships are officially underway at Illawarra Netball Association with the Parade of Districts winners announced.
As per State Championships tradition, the weekend began with all competing Associations from all across New South Wales participating in the ‘march past’ in front of judges Netball NSW Life Member and Hall of Fame Member Marilyn Melhuish OAM, Ms Anna Watson MP Member for Shellharbour and from BBX, Major Partner of the State Championships, Senior Account Manager Sean Morando.
There was fun and frivolity, clapping and cheering – with mascots, dancing and pom-pom waving – as Associations paraded past the judges looking to impress, accompanied by the Wollongong Brass Band – congratulations to Hastings Valley Netball Association who were crowned the winners, with a special mention to Macleay Netball Association.
