It is with much sadness that Netball NSW has been advised of the passing of Sue Denman, a stalwart of netball in the Hunter region.
An active Executive and Club member, Sue had Life Membership of the Medowie Netball Club and was also a supporter and contributor to the Terrace Central Netball Club.
At Port Stephens Netball she played many active roles across all aspects of the game in administrating, coaching, umpiring and playing.
She was also the Team Manager of the Hunter Jaegers which contested the National League (then the Commonwealth Bank Trophy) from 2004 to 2007.
In 2012, Netball NSW recognised Sue's dedication to the game when she was presented with the Anne Clarke Service Award.
A loyal contributor and supporter of netball, and a funny lady who will be sadly missed by not those in the game but also her husband Daryl, her family and her friends.
