COACHING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

A series of online Workshops designed to challenge and empower Netball NSW Coaches and Umpires by accessing the knowledge and insight of experts in the Netball world.

•	Each workshop will be 60 minutes long
•	Be delivered by Zoom, so you can learn in the comfort of your house
•	There will be a maximum of 45 participants per session
•	Cost $11 (Includes a processing fee)
•	Coaches will attain accreditation points for each workshop they attend
•	Sign up for the workshop relevant to your experience

Goals 
•	Provide a connection between Netball NSW and community coaches and umpires.
•	Give personal support from an experienced coach or umpire
•	Develop coach and umpire confidence
•	Introduce coaching and umpiring methods
•	Provide information on where coaches and umpires can get further help to develop their coaching
•	Challenge and empower coaches and umpires to set personal goals

Program
•	A 3-hour session that incorporates theory and practical components.
•	A theme will be decided each year 
•	Coaching (theory) developing a training session, developing a training season, delivering feedback, extension of any connect and learn sessions that may have been delivered early in the year. 
•	Coaching (practical) view and analyse skill development, error detection and correction

•	Development Accredited coaches and beyond

Coaching Convenors are encouraged to complete the below form to host a Development Face to Face Workshop or an Intermediate Coaching Course.

Development Face to Face Requirements:
Participants - 
* Minimum age 15 
* Current member of Netball NSW
Pre-Requisites - 
* Completion of Foundation Coaching Course
* Completion of Development Online Coaching Course
* Rules of Netball Theory Exam pass (70%)
Course Requirements - 
* Minimum of 8, maximum of 12 participants
* Register via Netball Learning
* Host association responsible for court, equipment & athletes
Cost - $70 (inc GST)

Intermediate Face to Face Requirements:
Participants - 
* Minimum age 16
* Current member of Netball NSW
Pre-Requisites - 
* Completion of Development Coach Accreditation
* At least 1 year/season of coaching experience after the completion of Development Coach Accreditation
Course Requirements - 
* Minimum of 6, maximum of 10 participants
* Register via Netball Learning
* Host association responsible for court, equipment & athletes
Cost - $135 (inc GST)
