Netball NSW Athlete Pathway Framework

The vision of Netball NSW is that netball is the leading sport of choice and opportunity. Our purpose is to lead and support our Netball community to grow and thrive.  

To achieve this, the Performance and Pathways team at Netball NSW is committed to working together with our stakeholders to deliver competitions and programs that stand us aside from other sports by being positive, holistic, athlete-centred and have long term athlete development at their core.

In conjunction with the NSW Office of Sport, Netball NSW has developed the Foundation, Talent, Elite and Mastery Framework (FTEM Framework) to inform our culture and programming. 

Based on evidence, the Athlete Pathway Framework advocates a best practice approach to long term athlete development to ensure every athlete receives the right support at the right time wherever they are on their developmental journey.
