DOOLEYS Metro League is one of the premier netball competitions in New South Wales, offering week in, week out competition for the state’s most talented netballers, coaches, umpires and administrators.

$125.00 (incl. GST) per player

Played at Netball Central, 2 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127

Divisions: 6 Divisions of 10 teams per Division (from Netball NSW affiliated Associations)

Format: Weekly competition, 18 rounds plus 3 week finals series
Division 1 & 2 will play on Thursday Night
Division 3 & 4 will play on Monday Night
Division 5 & 6 will play on Tuesday Night

DOOLEYS Metro League - 2022 Team Entry

Following are the steps to enter a team into the 2022 Dooleys Metro League

1. Netball NSW will communicate with Associations advising that entries to the Dooleys Metro League are open and provide all instructions and links.

Registering a team and players to the competition

2. Associations to appoint one person who will register teams and monitor player registrations. (It is suggested only one Association representative is appointed to register their representative teams to Netball NSW in PlayHQ)

3. Associations should register their teams to the Metro League competition in PlayHQ, instructions and the link to PlayHQ are provided here:

4. Once the Team Registration is complete, Associations will need to send the PlayHQ player registration link to players of their teams along with the instructions for how players need to register to a team.

Closing date for Player registrations - Wednesday, 9 February 2022

5. Associations to check all players are registered. Any players who do not register by the closing date will be required to be late registered.

6. Association must complete the team entry form. This form can be downloaded as a PDF and completed electronically. Ensure to save the form before sending)

7. Associations submit the complete team entry form to competitions@netballnsw.com
Closing date for team entries (all steps above must be completed) - Friday, 11 February 2022

8. Netball NSW will respond confirming the entry has been received and will provide the team list from PlayHQ of players that registered to the team in PlayHQ

9. Associations to check and ensure that the team list provided is correct. Any discrepancies should be notified by emailing 

competitions@netballnsw.com within 48 hours.

All Team Officials should be registered in PlayHQ no later than - Friday, 4 March 2022

11. Netball NSW will check the membership status of all Team Officials who register in PlayHQ for Metro League. Any Team Officials who are not financial members of Netball NSW in 2022, will be determined and Netball NSW will invoice the Association the non-player membership fee.

Late registrations and de-registrations

13. Late registrations and de-registrations > A link will be made available here to late register and de-register players following the close of entries.

14. Netball NSW will provide a registration link from PlayHQ for the players to register to the competition.

15. Once the player has registered to the competition, Netball NSW will allocate them to the team as requested and a confirmation will be sent to the Association official who completed the google form.

Bench Official requirements for ALL courts on ALL divisions:
Home Team – 2 bench officials
Away Team – 1 bench official

There will be 6 face to face training sessions conducted prior to the season commenting. 
Your new bench officials must complete the Online Bench officials course and then register to complete a training session to be eligible to officiate for you.

Registrations will open once dates are confirmed in 2022.

Netball NSW will not be conducting any development programs on Metro League in 2022.
