In accordance with The New South Wales Netball Association Limited (Netball NSW) Constitution (V1.15.2024) and the Netball NSW Election and Voting Policy, nominations are now invited from eligible individuals who wish to be considered for election as an Elected Director of Netball NSW with effect from the conclusion of the Netball NSW Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Saturday 15 March 2025.
Elected President in 2023, a former President of Ramsgate Netball Club, Sallianne Faulkner also served as Vice President of the St George District Cricket Club and is the current President of the Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club as well as the General Manager of the Bayside Women’s Shelter.
Claire has been an elected member of the Board since 2019, and has a commercial business background. She comes with a strong netball pedigree and a true passion for the sport. Claire sits on various NFB Boards across several industries.
Michelle joined the board in mid 2021. She has an extensive career as a finance professional including regulatory compliance, risk and change management, and governance. She is passionate about the opportunities netball provides to women and girls as well as netball's diversity across the community.
Vincent has been involved in netball for over 35 years and a member of the NNSW Board since 2018. His background is in Government, community and charitable organisations. He was awarded an OAM for outstanding service to youth welfare, charitable and sporting organisations.
Appointed to the Board in 2023 Jennie has volunteered at netball Associations for over 30 years. Her career in Health & Safety provides an expertise in HR, risk assessment, management systems, audit incident management and wellbeing
Chris joined the Board in mid 2021. For the past two decades he has held executive HR roles in a diverse range of industries including financial services, property, construction and the public sector. He's been an avid supporter of grassroots netball and regular attendee of elite games for 30 years.
An Appointed Director since November 2023, Janet has an impressive track record as a director and senior executive across a broad range of industries, including sport. She has a wealth of experience in corporate governance, strategy, risk management, and investments.
Dr Ben Hamer, who has represented NSW at Mixed Opens level, currently sits on the Board of the Australia Human Resources Institute in a Non-Executive Director role. He has held numerous executive roles in the public and private sector and holds a doctorate in Public Administration.
Netball NSW Life Member Carol was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to the game in 2022 and has returned to the Board in 2024 having served from 2009 to 2021. Carol is a stalwart of the Baulkham Hills Shire Netball Association where she previously served as President.
Before joining Netball NSW as NSW Swifts GM, Scott previously held senior roles at Cricket Australia and Football Australia and has a strong background in all aspects of the sporting pyramid having been a player, coach and administrator in various roles from the grassroots to elite.
