This course provides information and skills for you to manage alcohol usage and consumption in your life.

It’s aimed mainly for young, emerging high performance players, but anybody is welcome to enrol in the course and learn about the different ways that alcohol can negatively impact on an athlete’s current and future prospects within netball.

The course is aimed at first time and beginner coaches (eg. parents). The course contains four modules and will take approximately four hours to complete.

There is assessment included within each module of the course.

Suitable for Netball community members aged 18 years+, including coaches, umpires, volunteers, administrators and parents.

Welcome to Netball Australia’s mentoring online course which has been developed in conjunction with the Australian Sports Commission for people who work with coaches, umpires and officials at all levels.

This Mentoring course is designed for Coaches, Umpires and Bench Officials.

The course aims to provide everyone from the netball community with information, strategies and best practice ideas to help you:

-Create more inclusive and accessible netball environments that cater for the range of backgrounds, cultures, ages and abilities of people in your community.
-Support your Club and Association to create a more welcoming, inclusive netball environment for your Members, as well as those new to our game

This course will take you through the principles and practices of netball selection. Netball is a team game however the performance of individual athletes and the combination of athletes in playing positions is critical to the success of the team.

This course is aimed for any netball selector or coach commencing the process of team selection, but anybody is welcome to enrol in the course and learn about the principles and practices that may be used to select netball athletes for a squad or team.

Australian Sports Commission- Community Coaching General Principles

The Community Coaching General Principles program sets a minimum standard for all sports. The documents below will assist sports in the development of sport specific training programs and the delivery of the Community Coaching General Principles.

National Sport Integrity Unit

An eLearning program designed to help you understand what match-fixing is, its consequences, how to recognise it and report it. There are four different modules to complete.

Play by the Rules

An interactive online training course where you will learn;
-what child abuse it
-your rights and responsibilities under child protection laws
-how the laws apply to supporting organisations, clubs, their employees and volunteers
-when, where and how to report incidents
-how to establish a welcoming and inclusive environment at your club or organisation

Australia Sports Anti-Doping Authority

 Level 1 Anti- Doping Course

This course provides you with the opportunity to develop your knowledge of anti-doping. The interactive course comprises of six modules and an assessment.  Total time to complete this course is approximately 70 minutes.

Level 2 Anti-Doping Course

This test is for athletes and support personnel who need to stay up to date on the latest information on anti-doping. This test is updated annually to reflect current trends in anti-doping. A certificate is issued upon completion and expires on 31st December each year.  The course should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

Pre-requisite for this course is the successful completion of the Level 1 course
