HeartKids Cup 2026

Netball NSW is proud to host the 2026 HeartKids Cup, the official pre-season tournament for the Netball NSW Premier League, while continuing a long-standing partnership with HeartKids, a not-for-profit organisation supporting those impacted by childhood heart disease.

As a key lead-in to the Premier League season, the HeartKids Cup will see all 10 Netball NSW Premier League franchises take the court at Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park, with Opens and Under 23s squads. The event will also feature a Celebrity Charity Match, bringing together familiar faces from NSW and Australian netball to raise vital funds for HeartKids.

Established in 2012, the HeartKids Cup was founded by Netball NSW Performance and Pathways General Manager Mardi Aplin, inspired by her family’s experience after her son Carter was born with the rare and complex heart condition Truncus Arteriosus. What began as a single match in Orange has grown into a major annual event and an important pre-season hit-out for Premier League athletes.

Now firmly embedded on the Premier League calendar, the HeartKids Cup provides a meaningful opportunity for teams to prepare for the season while uniting the netball community behind an important cause.
