Goals
• Provide a connection between Netball NSW and community coaches and umpires.
• Give personal support from an experienced coach or umpire
• Develop coach and umpire confidence
• Introduce coaching and umpiring methods
• Provide information on where coaches and umpires can get further help to develop their coaching
• Challenge and empower coaches and umpires to set personal goals
Program
• A 3-hour session that incorporates theory and practical components.
• A theme will be decided each year
• Umpiring (theory) discussion of common themes found at state events, extension of any connect and learn sessions that may have been delivered early in the year.
• Umpiring (practical) view and analyse skill development, error detection and correction, practical positioning and vision techniques
Target Audience
• Umpires working toward National C accreditation
• Badged Umpires
Cost
• $15 (plus booking fees)
