Beyond the Court - Governance

Netball NSW has prepared a basic constitutional template which can be utilised by associations in the development of their own document. Associations should consider each of the provisions contained within this template before adopting the document to ensure that the provisions apply to them and the specific circumstances of their organisation.

It is recommended that an Association’s constitution is reviewed at least every 5 years.

Good financial management is essential for your clubs survival and is an important part of good governance.

Creating a clear and compelling purpose for your Club or Association is essential for attracting members, fostering a sense of community, and guiding your activities.

Conflict is a natural part of any group dynamics, and when managed effectively, it can lead to improved collaboration and better decision-making within a Committee.

With national changes to how sport integrity is managed, there has been a change in policies at a national level, which will apply to Netball NSW and our Affiliates
