Netball NSW are currently in the process of establishing an Aboriginal* Advisory Group to act in a leadership and advisory capacity to facilitate a meaningful partnership between Aboriginal people and NNSW. The aim of this group is to enhance the representation of Indigenous people across all levels of our netball community.
The Group will be responsible for providing strategic advice to NNSW management based on lived experience, knowledge of current and emerging realities, and the needs of Aboriginal people within NSW. The Group will also provide guidance in relation to NNSW’s overall approach to Aboriginal people in its operational policies, including the implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and volunteering strategies, training, and development for the organisation as a whole.
