In line with Federal and State Government directives, Netball Central will close its doors to the General Public from 12 noon today, Monday 23 March.
The closure is part of the national effort to stem the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Carolyn Campbell, CEO of Netball NSW - who manage and operate the venue – said the temporary closure would be disappointing for patrons, but noted it was vital to assist authorities during the national crisis.
“There is a public health emergency across our nation and further afield, and we must do everything to protect everyone in our society,” Campbell said.
“This closure is only temporary, and while we can’t give a re-opening date just yet, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Netball Central as soon as possible.
“This situation is changing day by day, and we are monitoring this to ensure the venue is operational once it’s given the green light to reopen.
“I would like to thank everyone who uses Netball Central for their understanding at this time.”
