Team Red and Team Yellow displayed some promising talent currently displayed in the Netball NSW Pathway.
Team Red took an early lead over Team yellow heading into the first half with seamless attacking play down court by Kiani Duckett and Charlee King in the midcourt. Team Yellow made a small comeback in the third with some impressive defensive pressure given by Taylah Kiss and Sarah Graham. However, it was the dominant shooting display by Team Red’s shooters Mia Evans and Olivia Clark was what pushed Team Red with the eventual victory over Team Yellow, 40-28
‘It was an amazing experience to play with some indigenous players I have never played before. At Randwick club I was always the only one who was indigenous in the team and good to get out there and play with some from my own culture and learn new experiences both on and off the court’ said Kiani Duckett
‘It was great just to get out there and it means so much more than just a game to us, its about representing our culture and making our family proud’ said Tarsha Hawley
