The results are in for the 2025 Hyundai Netball Community Raffle, with associations and clubs across New South Wales turning ticket sales into vital grassroots support — and two standout performers taking home top fundraising honours.
Lane Cove Netball Club has been crowned the Metro winner, receiving a $1,000 incentive prize after raising an impressive $4,638 in just over a month.

“We are so so thankful to Hyundai and Netball NSW. It is an incredible initiative,” Karmen Karamanian, Vice President of Lane Cove Netball Club said.
“The funds from the raffle will help us keep grassroots netball thriving. Every dollar raised, including the bonus, will go towards keeping registration fees low, so that netball is inclusive and accessible for our local families.”
The Club only registered in late August, making their achievement even more remarkable.
“We started late in the campaign, but just hammered our community. We asked all our teenage girls, who are budding P platers, to help – the cost of coffee could win them a car!”
Taking out the Regional award was Hastings Valley Netball Association, which raised $7,358 and rocketed to the top of the Netball NSW Community Raffle leaderboard thanks to a strong local effort and the support of their passionate netball community.
“The Association will use the money to put back to members. I’ve got big dreams – I’d love to get some of the elite netball players here for our members and even try to lure them here for a pre season game,” Linda Dewbery from Hastings Valley Netball Association said.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be to win the prize and very grateful to Hyundai for the additional $1,000 prize.”

The raffle, proudly presented by Netball NSW and Hyundai Australia, saw 33,316 tickets sold across 3,345 transactions, raising $66,000 for netball associations and clubs across New South Wales. The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid N-Line – the grand prize vehicle in this year’s raffle – was a game-changer, drawing attention and excitement wherever it goes.
“At Hyundai we just love being involved with grass roots sport, and with netball we see some amazing positives,” Tiffany Cashman, Sponsorships Manager at Hyundai said.
“We are so proud of the Hyundai Community Netball Raffle and the fact we’ve raised over $70,000 in the first year. The car has been everywhere from Eurobodalla to Hastings Valley, through Sydney metro and out to Cooma, driving sales and awareness every weekend.”
Netball NSW congratulates all participating associations, clubs, and franchises for their creativity, teamwork, and commitment to driving community spirit through the Hyundai Netball Community Raffle.
All funds raised will be distributed to the Clubs and Associations by the 31st October 2025. The raffle will take place again next year.
