Netball NSW is excited to launch our Netty Legend of the Month brought to you by Valour as part of this year’s National Volunteer Week.
Netball NSW Valour Netty Legend of the month is a recognition program that acknowledges not only the tireless work of our volunteers but also the extra value they add to the Netball community through their behaviours both on and off the court.
Clubs, Associations and members are asked to nominate a volunteer who has displayed one or more of Netball NSW’s values and behaviours and through this, created an exceptional experience for members. These values and behaviours are:
- Welcoming – we are an inclusive community for everyone
- One Team – we respect and value each other
- Best Always – we aspire to excellence
- Integrity – we play fair and take ownership of our actions
- Fun – we love what we do
General Manager of Communities, Trish Crews, is encouraging the Netball community to start nominating:
‘Every netball club has a Netty Legend, whether it’s someone who always leads with joy and encourages connection, inspires inclusivity in their actions or promotes value and respect in each other’.
Netball NSW wants to recognise these legends and reward them with a $250 Valour Gift Card with the winning nominator also receiving a $100 Valour Gift Card.
