Congratulations Kaylee Wood from Worrigee Tigers Netball Club.
Every month Clubs, Associations and members are asked to nominate a volunteer who has displayed one or more of Netball NSW’s values and behaviours and through this, created an exceptional experience for another member or members.
Nominated by Domoni Wilkinson, Kaylee is a founding member of the Worrigee Tigers Netball Club and the current Treasurer. Kaylee has mentored both junior and senior umpires, coached at all levels and helps others learn new committee roles including registrar, fundraising, grading, sponsorship and equipment. Kaylee is the person at the club that everyone feels they can trust and who most turn to for advice due to her wealth of netball knowledge.
‘’Kaylee is an absolutely amazing coach teaching our young ones the rules of netball and discipline of the game," said Domoni.
"Kaylee coaches 3 different age groups and is easily adapted to each while still teaching game values and respect for each other and our opposing teams. Kaylz has a range of players of different backgrounds and abilities, including neurodivergent players and never leaves anyone out. All the kids run into training and are always keen to see Kaylee and aim their highest. She is an angel!’’
Congratulations to Kaylee and Domini who will both be receiving a Valour Gift Card valued at $250 and $100 respectively.
