Netball NSW would like to congratulate and recognise Sarah Horne from the Tamworth Netball Association for being named the Adult Volunteer of the Year for the New England Northern Inland region.
Sarah is the umpire coordinator for the Tamworth Netball Association as well as being part of the Regional Allocations Team for the Northern Inland Region. These roles involve Sarah training, coordinating, mentoring young umpires and rostering umpires for the Tamworth Netball Association and when required for regional competitions as well. Sarah continues to be involved in umpire allocations at a state level and is a vital part of Westview Pirates Netball Club.
Sarah is now in the running for the statewide NSW Volunteer of the Year Award, which will be announced later in the year. On behalf of the whole netball community, Netball NSW wishes her all the very best.
