3rd, 10th, 16th September – Years 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 Schools Cup Sydney Metro Regional Finals
Schools Cup provides NSW Primary and Secondary School students with the opportunity to enjoy netball in an inclusive and enjoyable environment. This competition allows participants to experience an elevated netball experience through engaging activations and exciting gameplay. Winners from each region progress to the State Finals at Netball Central.

5th–7th September – Marie Little Shield
This tournament celebrates athletes with an intellectual disability, giving them the opportunity to represent their state at a national level in an inclusive, competitive environment.

7th September – Emerging Tri Tournament
Netball NSW’s Emerging Talent Tri Tournament returns in 2025 at Netball Central, bringing together Metro, Regional and First Nations squads made up of athletes aged 16–19. Identified through State Trials, State Titles and other Netball NSW competitions, these players will showcase the skills developed through weeks of performance sessions and workshops in a high-performance environment.

14th September – Dooleys Metro League Grand Final
The DOOLEYS Metro League is one of NSW’s top netball competitions, showcasing the state’s most talented metro-based players, coaches, umpires, and administrators. The Grand Finals across all divisions promises thrilling action and top-class netball.

A family fun day that brings communities together, while helping teams with selections and training for the Koori Netball Tournament in Charlestown.

Hosted by the Illawarra Academy of Sport at Illawarra Sports Stadium, this event features squads from all Regional Academies of Sport and Sydney Netball Academy. Supported by program partner Netball NSW and event partner Destination Wollongong, it promises three days of high-level competition.
