Netball NSW would like to congratulate the athletes who have been selected in the 2021 17U State Team Squad, 19U State Team Squad and the Emerging Talent Squad.
Seventy athletes have been named in the combined Squads. Squad athletes will undergo a base fitness test and screen this weekend, before having a well-deserved break.
Following three Squad training sessions in 2021, final selections will be held on 7 March and the following teams of 12 will be announced:
- Netball NSW 17U and 19U State Teams to play at the 2021 National Netball Championships in Hobart from July 4th-11th.
- Netball NSW Metro Emerging team and Regional Emerging team to play at the inaugural intra state competition at the Australian Institute of Sport from July 9th-11th.
Squad athletes that are not selected in the State Teams or the Metro and Regional Teams will be invited to be a part of the Emerging Talent Squad in 2021 that will participate in a series of three specialist positional sessions.
Additional athletes that have not been named in the above Squads, may also be added to the Emerging Talent Squad as a result of their performances at 2021 trials. Athletes will be advised following March 7th.
