Day one of the 2023 HART Senior State Titles has concluded at the Maitland District and Newcastle Netball Associations.
HART Senior State Titles is the principal state competition for netball athletes across NSW aged from 15 years.
Talented players, coaches, umpires and officials are coming together to enjoy the challenge of intra-state competition while renewing friendships and sharing their Netty Vibes.
Maitland District is hosting players from the following:
- Opens Division 1
- 17U Divisions 1 & 2
- 15U Divisions 1 & 2
- Open Male Divisions 1 & 2
Newcastle, meanwhile, is welcoming participants in:
- Opens Divisions 2 & 3
- 17U Divisions 3 & 4
- 15U Divisions 3&4
- All Abilities (Sunday)
The teams who win Division 1 in their respective age group will be crowned State Champions for 2023.

Opens Division 1
The Opens Championship Division had an extremely tight day one courtesy of two drawn games. At the top of the table currently sit local team Newcastle with Woy Woy on the same points.
Opens Division 2
A great hit out on day 1 for our Opens Division 2 teams. Lismore & District and Blue Mountains sit on the same points at the top of the table.
17U Division 1
Two teams remain undefeated in the 17U Championship division teams. Liverpool City take the overnight lead with Sutherland Shire close on their tale.
17U Division 2
Three teams head into day two undefeated. Wagga Wagga take the lead, Nambucca Valley in second and Barellan & District in third. A good battle tomorrow with Nambucca Valley taking on Barellan & District, a game to watch
17U Division 3
Kiama leads division 3 after an undefeated day 1 of competition. Eurobodalla come in 2nd with Brunswick Byron in 3rd place.
17U Division 4
A great day 1 performance from Temora as they sit top of the table with no losses. Hot on their tales are Narrandera, Mount Druitt and Blayney & District all sitting on the same points.
15U Division 1
A lot of young talent in the 15U championship division. Sutherland Shire finish in first place after an incredible start and Northern Suburbs close behind in second
15U Division 2
A close day of competition in 15U division two with Callaghan District and Lakeside going undefeated. Only 1 point behind them sits Barellan & District.
15U Division 3
Scone & District and Cessnock go through day 1 undefeated. Greatlakes and Tamworth also had a great start sitting in 3rd and 4th place.
15U Division 4
A great start from all division 4 teams. Kurri Kurri and Inverell lead the group on the same points. The top 2 teams of day 1 go head to head tomorrow, a game to keep an eye on.
Open Men Division 1
Ku-Ring-Gai put on a show, ending the day undefeated 2 games clear of Illawarra and Gosford.
Open Men Division 2
Manly Warringah lead Open Men Division 2, one game ahead of Charlestown, with invitational teams Black Hawks and Australian Defence Force on their heels.
