Day two of the 2023 HART Senior State Titles has concluded at the Maitland District and Newcastle Netball Associations with our Male State Champion crowned and our inaugural All Abilities State Challenge Winners announced.
In the Male Open Championship, a strong Ku-ring-gai team have defended their title from last year without losing a game. Gosford were the runners up in a highly competitive division.
Male Open Division 2 saw Manly Warringah take out the win, with Charlestown in second spot. Special mention to the invitational Black Hawks team for their strong showing in this division.
This year was also the first Netball NSW All Abilities State Challenge. Congratulations to all four teams from Eastwood Ryde, Gosford, Ku-ring-gai and Newcastle who played some great netball today at Newcastle. Ku-ring-gai were the eventual winners.

Opens Division 1
At the end of Day 2 its tight at the top of the Open Championship table with 2 points separating the top 5 teams. Newcastle and Manly Warringah are equal on 23 points with Maitland and Charlestown both on 22, closely followed by Woy Woy on 21.
Opens Division 2
Day 2 saw a top of the table clash between Lismore & District and Blue Mountains. Lismore & District came away with a great win to lock in a spot at the top of the ladder.
Opens Division 3
Inverell lead Opens division 3 after 2 days. Trailing them in second is Nelson Bay with Glen Innes in third place.
17U Division 1
Still all to play for in 17U Division 1. Liverpool City end day 2 undefeated on top with Wyong District sneaking into second spot after only losing 1 game.
17U Division 2
Wagga Wagga are undefeated across 12 rounds. Only 1 point separate the next two with Nambucca Valley on 21 and Cessnock on 20 respectively.
17U Division 3
A great competition in division 3, with the top 4 all close on points. Kiama maintain their first place position, with Leeton and Muswellbrook closely behind by 1 point. A top of the table clash tomorrow with Kiama taking on Leeton.
17U Division 4
Another tightly contested division in the 17s age group with Mt Druitt and Narrandera sitting in first and second place with only 1 loss each.
15U Division 1
A great match today between Sutherland Shire and Northern Suburbs saw Sutherland the eventual winners by 1 point cementing their place at the top of the ladder.
15U Division 2
Callaghan sit top of 15U Division 2 with an unblemished record. Wagga Wagga sit second and Lakeside third.
15U Division 3
A lot of young talent in division 3 with the top 4 teams all very close with their points. Cessnock have another great day leading the group going into day 3
15U Division 4
Inverell move themselves into first place after defeating Kurri Kurri who sat on the same points as them on day 1. Sapphire Coast will look to chase down Armidale & District for that 3rd spot.
