Community netball has officially returned across New South Wales, with thousands of players, coaches, officials and volunteers back on court over the opening weeks of the season.
As associations across both metropolitan and regional NSW welcome their communities back for another year, continued investment into netball infrastructure remains a vital part of supporting the growth of the game statewide.
Recent upgrades at both Eastwood Ryde Netball Association and Blue Mountains Netball Association are examples of the ongoing commitment to creating safe, modern and accessible facilities for participants of all ages, with works completed by Netball NSW Major Partner and preferred outdoor court resurfacing and construction provider, Court Craft.
Both facilities have officially opened to the community over the past two weeks, marking an exciting start to the season.
At Eastwood Ryde, the newly developed Bennelong Sports Centre marks a significant milestone for one of the state’s largest associations, delivering a world-class precinct designed to support the future of netball participation in Sydney’s north-west.
Meanwhile, Blue Mountains Netball Association recently celebrated the refurbishment of the Lapstone Oval lower courts, with upgraded surfaces and improved facilities helping provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for the local community.
These projects highlight the importance of continued investment into grassroots netball infrastructure, ensuring associations across NSW can continue to meet growing participation demands while enhancing the experience for players and families every weekend.
Netball NSW would also like to acknowledge the ongoing support and expertise of long-standing partner Court Craft.
As Netball NSW’s longest standing partner of more than 30 years, Court Craft has played a major role in the development of netball facilities across the state and remains the preferred outdoor court resurfacing and construction provider in NSW.
Court Craft has designed, constructed and surfaced hundreds of netball courts for associations across both regional and metropolitan NSW, continuing to help provide quality facilities for communities to enjoy the game.
With another community netball season now underway, Netball NSW remains committed to working alongside associations, councils, government and partners to help grow the game and deliver quality facilities for generations to come.
