Netball NSW's Waratah and Warada programs are helping 13 and 14-year-old netballers be the best they can be, and there are only limited spots still available for the inaugural sessions.
Last week former NSW Swifts Assistant Coach Anita Keelan and former Swifts Captain Abbey McCulloch filmed a practice session of the Waratah & Warada programs with a group of 13-year-old athletes from Eastwood Ryde at Netball Central.
"They focused on building a strong base of foundation movement," Margaret Hamley, General Manager - Performance and Pathways at Netball NSW, said.
"It was amazing to see the transformation in the young athletes as they listened to the coaching feedback and challenged themselves to develop their skillset.
"It was also awesome to watch the intensity rise as the athletes fed off the energy of coaching excellence."
The Waratah Netball Central sessions are booked out but if you live in metropolitan Sydney there are still places available at Barker College and Minto.
There are 10 regional programs scheduled. Regional athletes should find the program closest to them and be quick to sign up. Registrations will close on Wednesday 15 December.
