The stage is set for one of Australian netball’s most anticipated clashes, as GIANTS Netball and the NSW Swifts go head-to-head in the first local derby of the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball season.
"The Swifts-GIANTS derby is always one of the highlights of the Super Netball calendar — a true showcase of NSW’s world-class netball talent, fierce competition and passionate fans,” Netball NSW CEO Tracey Scott said.
“Every year, this match delivers incredible moments on court and an electric atmosphere in the stands.”

The Swifts enter the contest with confidence, having claimed victory in their opening five games of the SSN season to sit top of the ladder after five rounds.
The GIANTS, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from a loss to the Lightning last weekend and recapture the form that toppled the Adelaide Thunderbirds the last time they hosted a game at Ken Rosewall Arena.
