The NSW Swifts are delighted to announce that HomeWorld have signed on as Major Partners of the seven-time Premiers for the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season.
In a partnership that goes across both the professional and community game, HomeWorld have also partnered with Netball NSW and the organisation’s Junior and Senior State Titles, two events where many locally-born Swifts got their first taste of representative netball in years past.
HomeWorld was launched in 1986 by a co-operative of leading home builders to provide a destination for people, who are considering building a new home.
At HomeWorld you will find 49 building companies on site ready to answer questions and help visitors with their new home plans. You will also find, the largest range of display homes in Australia to step inside explore, making it the easiest way to compare your options and see the latest designs and trends in new home building.
Over the course of almost four decades the company has grown and now has five display villages at Box Hill, Marsden Park, Leppington, Warnervale (Central Coast) and Thornton (Hunter Valley).
No strangers to elite and grassroots sport, HomeWorld have enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Sydney Thunder’s BBL and WBBL Cricket teams, as well as community cricket, and the HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup.
Trudi Busch, Chief Marketing Officer of HomeWorld Group, said they were excited to team up with one of the nation’s most respected sports teams and codes.
“Netball is present in every community not just across NSW but the whole of Australia and the Swifts have been synonymous with its success for many years,” she said.
“At HomeWorld we are passionate about the communities we serve and netball is a game that is deeply engrained in them.
“We are keenly aware that you need a very strong base to create successful teams like the Swifts, and grassroots netballers and volunteers form one of greatest community movements in NSW. We are exceptionally proud that this partnership allows us to support all levels of the game.
“The Swifts have been to three Grand Finals in the past five years and have one of the strongest legacies in the game, which has resulted in full houses at Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney Olympic Park, and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Yael Reed, Netball NSW Executive General Manager of Commercial & Marketing, said:
“To have HomeWorld join us ahead of what’s shaping up to be another huge Super Netball season is fantastic and I would like to officially welcome them to our team across the Swifts and Netball NSW,” she said.
“The Swifts are the leaders for professional female team sport in NSW when it comes to legacy and success, and the Junior and Senior State Titles are the biggest community sports events in the state.
“HomeWorld have a proven track record of connecting grassroots and the elite in their other partnerships and we are excited to have them on board the leading game for women and girls, and the fastest-growing for boys and men.”
