The 2026 Hyundai Community Netball Raffle has once again delivered a winning result for grassroots netball across New South Wales, helping clubs and associations raise valuable funds while giving supporters the chance to win a range of exciting prizes. Delivered through the partnership between Netball NSW and Hyundai Australia, the annual initiative provides an accessible fundraising opportunity for local netball communities, with proceeds returned directly to participating organisations.
The Felton family celebrated a life-changing win after purchasing a raffle ticket in support of Lane Cove Netball Club, with Daniel Felton's entry drawn as the major prize winner of a Hyundai INSTER valued at more than $50,000.
Accepting the prize on behalf of the family, Alana Felton said the win came as a complete surprise.
"Our daughters are part of the club and it means a lot to us. We bought the tickets really just to raise money for the girls, never expecting to win.
"We're absolutely thrilled. We never thought when we bought the tickets that we'd actually win something, so it's life-changing."
While the major prize captured plenty of attention, the raffle's impact extended far beyond a single winner.
Across the state, clubs and associations used the initiative to generate valuable funding for their local netball communities. Among the strongest performers was Lane Cove Netball Club, who raised $5,112 through the campaign and were awarded the Metro Club Fundraising Bonus Award for raising the most funds among metropolitan clubs. The achievement earned the club an additional $1,000 bonus prize and marked back-to-back metro fundraising titles. Lower Clarence Netball Association claimed the equivalent regional honour.
The result was driven by a dedicated volunteer team led by Di Payne, President of Lane Cove Netball Club, and Prue Carroll, the club's Sponsorship, Events and Fundraising Coordinator.
Speaking at the presentation event, Payne highlighted the importance of fundraising in supporting the club's continued growth and opportunities for members.
"There are many costs associated with running and growing a club, which is why fundraising is so important.
"We spent time out in the local community promoting both the club and the raffle, and all of those efforts translated into the result we achieved."
The raffle presentation event also brought together representatives from Hyundai Australia, including Tiffany Cashman (Sponsorship Manager) and Emma Robinson (Event & Sponsorship Specialist), alongside Sirens players Mattise Leatherbarrow, Hope White and Erin O'Brien.
In addition to the major prize, Emma Young claimed second prize, receiving $1,000 in HART Sport vouchers, while Katie Boorman took home third prize, consisting of a Sirens three-game Bronze Membership and a signed GIANTS bib.
The continued success of the Hyundai Community Netball Raffle highlights the strength of community netball across New South Wales and the impact partnerships can have in helping local clubs and associations create opportunities for players, volunteers and families both on and off the court.
