It’s one the biggest community sports events in the Southern Hemisphere and in 2024 the HART Junior State Titles took place at the Penrith District and Baulkham Hills Netball Associations from Saturday to Monday, 6 - 8 July.
“Across both Penrith and Baulkham Hills, people travelled from far and wide, each team arrived with a host of players, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters,” Tim Fava, Netball NSW Executive General Manager of Community & Pathways, said.
‘’In total 2,344 players from 234 teams and 900 officials hit the court with 2,087 games taking place with 58,200 goals scored.
“It certainly showcased the strength of grassroots netball across the State.
“The sheer scale of Junior State Titles is unrivalled in NSW community sport and huge credit must go to the dedicated volunteers at both Associations in Penrith and Baulkham Hills, each participating team, as well as the staff at Netball NSW for an amazing weekend of netball.
“The Junior State Titles offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for participants to make new friends for life. We have seen some serious competition, amazing scenes of sportsmanship and the third year of the Male division.
“It was about the positive vibes shared together and the #nettyvibes were certainly on show with supporters and participants all joining in the fun”
Netball NSW would like to thank HART Sport, Naming Rights Partner of the Junior State Titles, for their continued support of the game across the State.
Further thanks go to Penrith City Council who partnered with Netball NSW for the delivery of the event at the Penrith District Netball Association.
