Netball NSW would like to acknowledge and congratulate the members of our game’s community who were awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) on Sunday 26 January.
They were as follows:
- Vivienne Bertenshaw OAM (Hawkesbury City Netball Association): For services to netball as an administrator and coach (Anne Clark Service Award (2012), Australian Sports Medal (2004), Life Member Hawkesbury City)
- Yvonne Keegan OAM* (Orange Netball Association): For services to the community of Orange (Anne Clark Service Award (2002), Life Member & Patron of Orange Netball Association)
- Christine Anne Miles OAM (Wyong Netball Association): For services to netball as an administrator (Board Member, Central Coast Heart and Life Member Wyong Netball Association)
Netball NSW would also like to acknowledge Stacey Elizabeth Campton (ACT) who was recognised with an OAM for her service to the netball community as well as the Indigenous community.
The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, paid tribute to people from all walks of life who were honoured at the weekend.
