Netball NSW is delighted to announce that 14 new Coach and Umpire Education Workshops have now been added to the Connect & Learn Program, and spaces are filling up fast.
The sessions are aimed at supporting NSW coaches and umpires at all levels - from grassroots to high performance - achieve performance goals and personal growth.
Sessions offer something for everyone and this month include an hour with former Australian Diamonds coach Jill McIntosh discussing how to get the best out of players.
Also included is State Team coach Jen Wright talking about the strong link between culture and athlete buy-in, while performance and speed guru Ranell Hobson will be demonstrating how to improve athletes with speed and agility.
On-court umpires have an opportunity to learn from two of the Australia’s leading officials in Michelle Phippard, discussing advantage, and Bronwen Adams discussing obstruction.
As well as this umpire coaches and mentors can learn to how develop beginner umpires from Netball NSW Hall of Fame member - Maureen Boyle OAM.
HOW THE COURSES WORK
Workshops are delivered by Zoom in the comfort of your home and cost only $10. Registration is via MyNetball. To see how to how to access the courses in MyNetball please CLICK HERE.
Coaches and umpires will be given five (5) accreditation points for each workshop they attend.
The calendar will be updated on the Netball NSW website on Wednesdays at midday.
Please note each workshop is limited to 25 places, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis!
Netball NSW aims to extend session topics and target groups in June.
