In an exciting first for Regional League this year all Regional League fixtures will be run on the same weekend across the state.
Taking place over the weekend of 1st and 2nd April 2023 the 7 venues will be full of talented players, coaches and umpires as they look to realise their potential and possible selection for Regional State Cup.
The weekend itself will see over 1000 participants involved and Netball NSW is excited to be providing increased marketing and excitement around the competition over the coming months.
Following a consultation process in 2022 the vision for Regional League is that this will be the principal competition in each region for athletes 16 years and over. Athletes, coaches, umpires and officials will aspire to represent their Association at this competition and intraregional competitiveness will increase.
There will also be an opportunity for Developing Umpires and Coaches to be identified and given feedback, with additional mentoring/assessment to be offered later in the season.
