Netball NSW would like to acknowledge Matt Miller for his three years of service on the organisation’s Board of Directors.
An Appointed Director who joined the Board in August 2020, Miller was a member of NNSW’s People & Culture and Audit & Risk Sub-Committees and joined when the game was facing challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
His broad knowledge and deep understanding of sport at all levels was hugely appreciated by both NNSW and the netball community during one of the most challenging times in the sport’s history.
Before joining Netball NSW, Miller spent over four decades working with State Governments in New South Wales and Queensland, as well as at Federal level.
He also worked as CEO of the Australian Sports Commission between 2009 and 2011, before heading up the NSW Office of Sport from 2014 to 2019.
NNSW thanks him for his significant contribution to the game at all levels.
