The 2026 Suncorp Super Netball League fixture has landed – and it promises to be a season full of passion, rivalry and unmissable match-ups for NSW netball fans.
The season begins on Saturday 14 March, with both the NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball hitting the road to launch their campaigns. But the real excitement starts the following weekend when Sydney plays host to a huge Super Netball double-header.
On Sunday 22 March at Qudos Bank Arena, it’s all about state pride as NSW takes on Victoria in a mouthwatering double clash. NSW vs Victoria has always been one of Australia’s fiercest sporting rivalries – and fans can expect nothing less than fireworks when the four teams hit the court. At 3pm, the GIANTS will look to topple reigning premiers the Melbourne Vixens, before the Swifts go head-to-head with the Melbourne Mavericks at 5pm.
The action continues into the Easter long weekend, with two family-friendly showdowns at Ken Rosewall Arena. On Saturday 4 April, the GIANTS welcome the Queensland Firebirds for a twilight clash at 5pm. Then, on Easter Sunday, 6 April at 2pm, the Swifts face off against the West Coast Fever in what promises to be a fiery grudge match, after the Fever ended the Swifts’ 2025 campaign in heartbreak, knocking them out of the competition in the preliminary final.
One of the highlights of the season will be the first NSW Derby on Anzac Day, Saturday 25 April, when the Swifts host the GIANTS at 5pm at Ken Rosewall Arena. Attending a sporting clash has long been a tradition on ANZAC Day and this clash between two fierce rivals is set to be one of the biggest netball fixtures of the year.
Over the Kings Birthday long weekend in June, the Swifts take on the Thunderbirds at 5pm on the Saturday while the GIANTS contest the Fever at 4pm on the Sunday. Fittingly, the final NSW Derby will also close out the regular season in style, when the Swifts and GIANTS meet once again on Sunday 14 June at 4pm.
With local rivalries, national pride on the line and plenty of family-friendly time slots, NSW fans have plenty to look forward to in 2026.
