More than 1,300 passionate supporters packed Netball Central for a huge day of 2026 Metro League and Premier League Grand Final Action.
The atmosphere was electric from the opening whistle, with six DOOLEYS Metro League divisions taking to the court throughout the day, followed by the IMB Bank Premier League 23U and Opens showdowns. From tight finishes to wrestled leads, the Grand finals delivered plenty of drama and excitement as teams battled until the final whistle.
“Grand Final Day was a great celebration of netball, with more than 1,300 families, friends, and supporters coming through Netball Central to cheer on their teams. The competition was fantastic, and the close finishes made for a great day on court.” Netball NSW Competitions General Manager Stacy Harding said.
DOOLEYS Metro League
Division 1
Manly Warringah claimed the Division 1 premiership with a thrilling 47-45 victory over Eastwood Ryde.
Division 2
Blacktown City secured the division 2 title, defeating Bankstown 53-44.
Division 3
Sutherland Shire took home the division 3 premiership after overcoming Central Coast 51-45.
Division 4
Central Coast edged out Illawarra District 51-49 in a nail-biting Division 4 Grand Final.
Division 5
Bankstown City secured the Division 5 premiership with a close 45-43 victory over Blacktown City.
Development Series
Hunter Netball finished their campaign with a comfortable 48-29 victory over Liverpool City to claim the Development Series title.
IMB Bank Premier League
The Premier League Grand Finals delivered two thrilling finishes, with both matches decided by just two goals.
23U
In the 23U Division, UTS Randwick Sparks held their nerve to secure a 49-47 victory over the Sutherland Stingrays in a closely fought contest.
OPENS
The Opens Division Grand Final was another nail-biter, with South West Mounties Magic edging past North Shore United 60-58 to claim the 2026 premiership
