In 2024 Suncorp Bank have continued to support the DOOLEYS Metro League by sponsoring a ‘Spirit’ Award to be awarded to a team from each Division.
Suncorp Bank recognises that sport isn’t just about the results on court, but the good sporting behaviour shown on and off the court and are pleased to support the award to those teams that show good sporting behaviour across all areas of Netball.
The Award is given to those teams who have shown sporting behaviour on and off the court, showing respect to Match Officials, each other and the surrounding environment and of course playing with integrity and having fun.
The Spirit Award is voted on the by the teams competing in this years DOOLEYS Metro League and the winning is awarded a $250 Gift Voucher.
The Suncorp Bank Spirit Award Winners so far this season are
- Division 3 - Inner West Netball Association Team 2
- Division 5 – Baulkham Hills Netball Association Team 4
- Division 2 - Manly Warringah Netball Association Team 2
DOOLEYS Metro League continues on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights at Netball Central in Sydney Olympic Park on Wangal country where 60 teams from across the Sydney Metro region battle it out for honours in six divisions.
