The 2025 South Coast Regional League took place over the weekend at the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, with 18 teams from around the South Coast region competing across three divisions. Across the weekend, we enjoyed a very competitive competition with three finals series games going into extra time across the weekend. Division 1 Recap: In the Division 1 Grand Final, Southern Highlands 1 faced Illawarra 2 in a highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash for the South Coast Regional League Championship. The first half was a tight contest, with momentum swinging between both teams and no clear leader at the break. In the second half, Illawarra 2 stepped up with strong defensive pressure. Although Southern Highlands 1 fought back hard, Illawarra 2 proved too strong on the day, securing a 16–12 victory in a closely contested final. Division 2 Recap: In the Division 2 Grand Final, Kiama 1 took on Queanbeyan 2 for the Regional League title. Kiama 1 came out firing and dominated the first half, carrying all the momentum into the break. However, Queanbeyan 2 responded brilliantly in the second half, showcasing strong defence and accurate shooting to level the match at 16-all by full-time. In extra time, Kiama 1 regained control with outstanding defensive efforts, eventually sealing a 26–20 win to be crowned Division 2 champions. Division 3 Recap: In the Division 3 Grand Final, Kiama 2 faced Sapphire Coast 2 for the Regional League crown. Kiama 2 set the tone early, building a 4-goal lead by half-time. Sapphire Coast 2 fought back admirably in the second half with some impressive play, but Kiama 2 maintained their composure and strength to claim a 24–14 victory and the Division 3 title.
