Netball NSW is currently calling for nominations for a number of awards. Detailed information, including the criteria for each award, can be found in the Netball NSW Volunteer Recognition and Awards Policy.
The following awards are now open for nomination and will be presented at the Netball NSW Awards Event held in November:
The Anne Clark BEM Service Awards
This award is presented to individuals in recognition of their significant contribution to the development of netball at an Association level. This award is the highest accolade that Netball NSW can pay to its volunteers at the Association level.

The Margaret Corbett OAM Coaches Award – Coach of the Year
The Margaret Corbett OAM Coaches Award recognises the critical role that coaches play in netball. It aims to reward and acknowledge coaches that have demonstrated excellence in the principles of coaching that are reflected in the legacy of Margaret Corbett OAM. Nominations are open for coaches who are currently coaching a team at the level of Senior State Titles, Metro League, Regional League, Premier League or a Performance Pathway team.

The Dot McHugh OAM Administrator Award
The Dot McHugh OAM award recognises an individual who has displayed outstanding leadership in the management and/or administration of netball within their Association and/or club.

The Judy Dunbar Media Award
The Judy Dunbar Media Awards are provided in recognition of an individual or media outlet that has demonstrated an outstanding media contribution to netball in the categories of:
- Best Overall Media Coverage
- Best Feature “Piece”
- Best Photograph
- Community Media Excellence

Netball NSW Waratah Service Award
The awarding of the Netball NSW Waratah Service Award is in recognition of an individual’s distinguished service to Netball NSW in the capacity of an organisational or operational volunteer.

Netball NSW Life Membership
Life Membership is the highest award available to recognise the exceptional contribution of individuals to Netball NSW. It is the ultimate accolade and is therefore only awarded in exceptional circumstances.
