A fabulous return to the Academy Challenge after 2 years of covid. North Coast Academy of Sport hosted the event with the 12 Regional Academies coming together at Port Macquarie over the 3 days.
The coaches and umpires were treated to the experience of some of Netball NSW’s most experienced mentors including Julie Fitzgerald, Giants Netball Head Coach and SSN & Commonwealth Games Umpire, Bronwen Adams.
We were thrilled with the talent displayed across the weekend and the Performance & Pathways team are very excited leading into our NSW 17U State Team trials. Congratulations to the 2 National C Badges and 6 National B Badges that were awarded over the weekend.
The Regional Academy of Sport program is a vital part of the Netball NSW pathways and it was wonderful to the improvement of all the coaches, athletes and umpires throughout the 12 months.
