Netball Australia has entered a groundbreaking global broadcast partnership with the newly launched All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN), founded by entertainment icon Whoopi Goldberg.
The multi-year agreement will bring Suncorp Super Netball to over 65 new countries across the next three years, dramatically expanding the sport’s global reach and connecting new audiences to the world’s best netball league.
AWSN is a global sports television network dedicated exclusively to women’s sports. With the addition of its newest channel on Pluto TV, AWSN now reaches over 900 million households worldwide. The network offers live coverage of women’s sports, featuring some of the biggest leagues in the world.
The partnership will see 41 Suncorp Super Netball matches, including finals, made available to AWSN audiences through to 2027.
In a video statement underscoring the impact of the partnership, Whoopi Goldberg, founder of AWSN, shared her excitement and vision for what lies ahead for Suncorp Super Netball.
“I am so proud to be thanking you for joining us on AWSN,” she said, addressing Suncorp Super Netball.
“I see that your fans are really loving you, so we want to make sure that we put you everywhere in the world so that everybody knows about you.”
As the global appetite for women’s sport continues to grow, AWSN will provide powerful platforms to elevate athlete stories, showcase game-day moments, and shine a light on netball’s impact.
Netball Australia CEO Stacey West said the game changing deal proves netball isn’t waiting for permission to take the global stage - it’s claiming it.
“Suncorp Super Netball is no longer a game that fans seek out, it’s something they cannot miss,” West said.
“This breakthrough deal puts netball on screens across the globe and cements our place at the forefront of women’s sport,”
“AWSN shares our vision of taking women’s sport to new heights. Together, we’re creating a platform for our athletes and game to shine like never before.”
This partnership builds on Netball Australia’s growing international footprint, complementing its two-year digital distribution strategy via Netball Pass, and cements the league’s status as a global powerhouse in women’s sport.
Australian-based viewers can continue to watch every game of the Suncorp Super Netball live on Kayo Sports, Foxtel and Binge.
