To support coaches and umpires on their journey and to bring the coach and umpire community together, Netball NSW will again be presenting a series of Connect & Learn workshops and forums.
The workshops were introduced in 2020 as way to keep coaches and umpires connected and upskilled during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Connect & Learn will offer a variety of sessions that will be targeted to a range of levels of experience and capabilities.
The 2021 Connect & Learn Program will start in early May with a series of coach sessions provided via Zoom.
From the comfort of their home, coaches of all levels in every corner of NSW can learn from the wisdom of some our most experienced coaches. Presenters such as Anita Keelan, Jill McIntosh, Amber Cross, Nardia MacDonald and Kath Tetley will challenge thinking and help coaches prepare for the season ahead. Topics will include Structures and Strategies, Vision in Transition, Communication and Reading the Play. A must see is the State Titles Feedback for success for all our State Titles coaches out there.
By late May the Umpire Education program will be in full swing. Presenters will be experienced National A and AA umpires who are excited to challenge, guide and support NSW umpires.
Spread the word on Connect & Learn to coaches in your Association and stay up to date on this and other coach and umpire education initiatives by regularly visiting the relevant Courses & Workshops pages on the Netball NSW website.
