Court Craft Summer Series is well and truly underway with Rounds 1-3 done and dusted.
The competition is heating up in both our 17U divisions as athletes found themselves in some epic battles!
Round 2 saw Camden and St George battle it out in Division 1, however it was Camden who managed to overpower their opponents finishing with a four-goal lead 52-48. 17U Division 1 sees Northern Suburbs, Camden & District and Hills District on top of the ladder after three rounds of competition.
All eyes were on Camden and Baulkham Hills Shire in 17U Division 2 as they encountered their toughest match yet. In the end it was Baulkham Hills who were able to secure the win 41-40. Sutherland Shire and Liverpool are currently sitting on top of the ladder with 6 points apiece.
Dominance continues to be the running theme in our 15U division as some teams delivered some absolute knock out matches. Ku-ring-gai managed to pull off a massive win against Blacktown in Round 2, however fell short this week against undefeated St George 61-42. Randwick also continues their undefeated streak as they consolidated yet another win this week, taking out Parramatta Auburn 48-32.
The Opens divisions continue to soar with athletes showing remarkable athleticism and resilience week in and week out. Liverpool and St George have proven themselves to be at the top of their game as they continue to rule the ladder undefeated in Division 1.
It’s a similar story in Opens Division 2 as Camden and Baulkham Hills remain undefeated, however Eastwood Ryde gave Camden a run for their money in a tight match which concluded 36-40 in Camden’s favour.
Campbelltown and Randwick seem unstoppable in Opens Division 3 as they currently hold the top two spots on the ladder and Inner West remains the only team undefeated in Division 4 as they have secured some epic wins throughout the season so far.

Round 4 will see teams celebrating NAIDOC Week which is normally held in July. NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme, Always Was, Always Will Be. recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country – a history which dates back thousands of generations.
