Only two weeks out from the final round of the season, teams are putting everything on the line to secure the top two places in their division in the Court Craft Summer Series competition this year.
With COVID bringing a shortened season to the teams, players have had to step up their game from day one.
Liverpool and St George are in for a battle in the Opens Division 1 as both teams remain undefeated. Ku-ring-gai, however are hot on their heels and won’t be backing down as we are in for a fight next week as Liverpool take on Ku-ring-gai in an epic showdown for the top spot leading into the final round of the season.
In the Opens Division 2 all eyes are on Camden and St George as they sit comfortably in the top spots. It will be a match to watch next week as they face each other in Round 6 for the top position! Will Camden hold on to their undefeated streak?
Campbelltown District dominate the ladder in the Opens Division 3 comp as they sit on a whopping 10 points, remaining undefeated this season whilst St George, Randwick and Northern Suburbs all trail behind on 4 points. Northern Suburbs will need to bring their A-game next week as they will attempt to bring Campbelltown’s dominance to a dramatic close.
Our Opens Division 4 competition sees a close contest between the top two positions as Sutherland Shire are hot on Inner Western Suburbs heels by just one point. With Inner West scheduled for a bye next week, Sutherland have an opportunity to take the lead and knock Inner West from the number one spot.
Northern Suburbs have proven themselves to be a forced to be reckoned with in 17U Division 1 with an unstoppable five round winning streak! With this Division having the closest contest for the top spot, will Hills be able to bring it all crashing down next week for Northern Suburbs and position themselves in the top two spots of the division?
Liverpool City are sitting pretty in the 17U Division 2 ladder as they continue to rule the ladder in yet another undefeated streak. Liverpool are all set to take on Northern Suburbs next week and will be running on a high as both teams secured yet another round of convincing wins.
15U Division has seen St George setting the standard from Round 1 as they too remain undefeated in the competition. Randwick managed to give them a battle to remember this week as they came within goals of the dominating team, however St George were able to pull away in the final quarter to secure a fifth round win.
