We are into our final two weeks of minor rounds of the DOOLEYS Metro League competition as Round 7 wrapped up this week.
Three teams remain undefeated across all six divisions in the competition so far!
Parramatta Auburn and Penrith District who currently sit on top of the ladder in Division 2, had another round of convincing wins. The teams are all set to face off in Round 9 in what will be an ultimate battle for the top spot, who will continue their winning streak?
Northern Suburbs Division 4 team are sitting comfortably on top of the ladder as they had a game of dominance on Monday night and remain undefeated in the competition with six wins and one draw.
The next two rounds will surely ignite the fire within our teams as they will battle for their position in the Semi-Finals.
Baulkham Hills Shire is up for a challenge in Division 1 as they will take on current leaders Manly Warringah in the hope to claim the fourth position on the ladder, currently held by Eastwood Ryde.
Another tight contest is set to take place in the coming weeks as currently fifth placed Randwick will take on fourth placed Inner Western Suburbs in a battle not to be missed in Division 2.
Penrith District will attempt to steal Inner Western Suburbs’ second place on the ladder as Round 8 will bring a fiery match in Division 5 and another top of the table clash is all set in Division 6 as Ku-ring-gai will take on St George District.
