Due to the recent spread of COVID-19 in the Sydney area, all visitors to Netball Central will be required to wear a facemask from 4pm today (Tuesday 22 June).
This is a NSW Government requirement. It means:
- All players, team officials, umpires, bench officials and spectators will need to wear a mask while in the Netball Central venue.
- Players, team officials and umpires may remove the mask once they have arrived at their TEAM BENCH ONLY. They did not have to wear masks when competing.
- Masks will need to be worn following the completion of games and when exiting the venue.
- Supporters must wear masks at all times when visiting Netball Central.
- All teams/athletes/officials/supporters should be extra vigilant and ensure that everyone is abiding by all current health guidelines and have checked current health information. Anyone who has visited any of the exposure sites at the nominated times must abide by the orders and not attend Netball Central.
- NSW Health are constantly updating the list of sites which may have been exposed to COVID-19 and where orders are in place for people to isolate and get tested. The full list is available here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
- Everyone visiting Netball Central must check in and out of the venue using the Service NSW App.
- These precautions will remain in place until further direction is provided by the NSW Government and NSW Health.
