Last Saturday, 6 March twenty coaches attended the practical component of the Advanced accreditation course and a group of coaches were assessed for their readiness to obtain the Advanced accreditation at Netball Central in Sydney Olympic Park.
The accreditation course was led by legendary NSW coaches, Jill McIntosh and Anita Keelan. Jill and Anita challenged the coaches to develop their knowledge of delivery as well as their feedback capabilities to help bring out the best in their athletes.
Jill and Anita emphasised that participating in the Advanced course is only the first step in obtaining an Advanced accreditation, coaches must then commit to ongoing learning, mentoring and reflection.
Showcasing the full circle of the Advanced course, a group of coaches who have been working hard over the past two years were assessed.
Netball NSW is thrilled to announced that four coaches were successful in obtaining the esteemed Advanced coaching accreditation.
