Following the Governments announcement at 3pm on Friday 13 March 2020 Netball NSW will provide further information in regards to public gatherings on Monday 16 March 2020. The restrictions announced do not come into effect until Monday but we ask all Associations and clubs to continue to take into consideration personal circumstances and to provide flexibility to accommodate the needs of your players, volunteers and officials.
As with any infectious disease, personal hygiene is of the highest importance. All Associations and clubs are advised to remain vigilant with cleaning and hygiene in common areas. Areas such as clubhouses, changerooms and toilets should be clean and tidy with particular attention paid to hand basins, toilets, showers etc. Adequate soap, hand sanitiser, paper towels, rubbish bins and disinfectants should be available at all times.
