With the 2020 DOOLEYS Metro League competition commencing next Monday, 20 July, we thought we would compile everything you need to know to prepare for the upcoming season.
To ensure the safety of Players, Officials and Spectators during the DOOLEYS Metro League Competition and in accordance with Public Health Orders and Government restrictions, competition formats and entry to the 2020 season of DOOLEYS Metro League will look a little different this year.
Competition Format
Minor Rounds
All teams will play each team in their division once. Divisions 3 and 4 will play on Monday nights, Division 5 and 6 on Tuesday nights and Divisions 1 and 2 will play on Thursday nights.
Finals Series
The top four finishing teams on the ladder for each Division will progress to a Finals Series. This will consist of Semi Finals where first place versus fourth place and second place versus third place. The winners of both Semi Finals will progress to the Grand Final while the losers will compete in a third place play off match.
