Netball NSW is seeking Expressions of Interest for the Foundation Waratah and Foundation Warada Programs which are for aspirational athletes turning 13 and 14 years of age in 2022.
Both are functional movement, technical skills and well-being programs and have been developed centrally by leading coaches and experts in sport development.
The Programs will be delivered by experienced coaches in multiple locations at indoor courts throughout metropolitan and regional NSW.
The focus of the Foundation Waratah and Foundation Warada programs is for athletes to develop a strong base of technical, tactical, physical and well-being skills that will help prepare them to progress on the netball pathway, enjoy the sport for life and Love the Game.
The Foundation Warada program is for athletes who identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and who are excited by the opportunity to train, learn and be challenged with netballers who share their cultural heritage.
Both programs will have a strong emphasis on support, inclusion and respect and will provide a wonderful opportunity for coaches throughout NSW to work alongside, observe and be challenged by those further developed along the NSW pathway.
Expressions of Interest close on November 26th. Netball NSW will then provide athletes that have submitted an EOI with a final calendar of dates, venues and times. Those that have expressed interest will be provided first opportunity to register for sessions.
Be quick to submit your interest for this exciting new program!
